DeFAI: Can the deep integration of AI and DeFi lead the new wave of AI Agents?
1. Overview of DeFAI
1.1 Definition of DeFi AI
DeFAI is the combination of AI and DeFi. Although AI-related concepts have gone through multiple rounds of hype, from AI computing power to AI Memes, from different technical architectures to different infrastructures, DeFAI is becoming a new breakthrough trend. Currently, DeFAI is mainly divided into three categories: AI abstraction, autonomous DeFi agents, and market analysis and forecasting.
1.2 The operating mechanism of DeFAI
The core of the DeFAI system is the large language model (LLM), which operates on multiple levels, from data collection to decision execution. Most models follow the workflow below:
Data Collection: Obtain on-chain data, off-chain data, and decentralized data sources.
Model Inference: Use techniques such as supervised learning, unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, and natural language processing for analysis and prediction.
Decision Making: Utilize optimization engines and multi-agent systems collaboration to formulate the best strategies.
Custody and Operation: You can choose between centralized or decentralized custody methods and interact with on-chain protocols.
Interoperability: Interact with multiple Decentralized Finance protocols and platforms through API integration and decentralized messaging.
Wallet Management: Use MPC wallets or TEE technology to ensure transaction security and autonomy.
1.3 The relationship between DeFi and the concept of "intention"
The vision of DeFAI is similar to the "intention" concept proposed by Paradigm. DeFAI aims to enable users to manage their portfolios autonomously through AI agents and platforms, simplifying participation in the cryptocurrency market. This approach is akin to the "intention"-driven trading model, where users only need to focus on the outcomes without having to specify the exact execution path.
