According to CoinWorld, on August 15, law enforcement in Texas has seized over 2.8 million dollars in Crypto Assets from the suspected Ransomware operator Ianis Aleksandrovich Antropenko, along with 70,000 dollars in cash and a luxury car. Prosecutors accuse Antropenko of deploying Zeppelin Ransomware to launch attacks against individuals, businesses, and organizations worldwide, extorting them through encryption and data theft. This case is one of six federal search warrants issued by the U.S. Department of Justice in courts in Virginia, California, and Texas.
