Recently, Brother Ghost discovered a new platform called Select. At first, I thought it was just a common financial management platform, but after trying it out, I found that it is actually a platform that aggregates quantitative strategies.
Portal:
In simple terms, its core idea is:
👉 Turn strategies like arbitrage and trend trading, which originally required a professional team to operate, into individual "modules" that users can select directly.
👉 You don't need to monitor the market, place orders, or manage positions; just put your money in and follow the strategy.
I looked at several types of strategies inside, and the differences are quite significant:
Arbitrage across exchanges: similar to moving bricks, very stable, with an annualized return of about 10% over 30 days, plus a 5% guaranteed return, with maximum drawdown almost negligible.
CTA trend: high risk, high return, recently the annualized rate has been directly pulled to 123% over the last 30 days, but the volatility is indeed large.
BTC single asset arbitrage: relatively stable, 30-day annualized 21%, drawdown less than 1%.
Surprisingly, it directly gives newcomers a 200U trial fund. The design of the trial fund is very clever:
The principal is not yours, so you don't feel bad even if you lose;
The earnings can be taken away directly;
You can run a quantitative strategy with no cost and experience whether it is reliable or not.
The entire process is quite smooth: receive trial funds → choose strategy → confirm subscription → run the portfolio to completion → redeem profits, almost no worries throughout.
To be honest, I had a mediocre impression of this kind of platform before and thought most of it was just a gimmick.
But this time, the returns really came out, and I didn't have to keep an eye on it at all in between, which changed my perspective on the convenience of it.
📌 Overall:
The positioning of Select is not to "attract users with high returns," but to help beginners lower the threshold with a solid strategy + no-cost trial funds. It can be considered a ticket for ordinary people to experience quantitative trading.
Suitable for those who want to try quantitative trading without taking big risks.
